One 3-4" California White Sage and Lemon Thyme Smudge Stick

We Grow Our Own!

I am a stick of California White Sage and Lemon Thyme Smudge Stick. Need a pick me up? Need some pep? I have an uplifting lemon aroma.

I am MADE TO ORDER-please note each stick is different as they are hand-made and tied with different color 100% cotton thread. Please allow time for the stick to dry----3-7 days.

Smudging can prepare the way for a successful meditation session. While there are various ways in which to mediate, there are often times in which we need to focus on a specific event in our life in order to re-balance ourselves. Possibly, you work with toxic co-workers and need to wipe away the negativity of the day, or you’re having financial difficulties and need to clear your mind for better concentration.

We have chosen to infuse our smudge sticks with superior, organic essential oils. Our oils are the finest on the market and have been tested for purity.
History reveals smudging, incense burning and the use of candles has been a consistent through the ages for mediation as well as worship. From Native American ceremonies to the Catholic Church to the Pagan Beliefs, the use of fragrance prevailed.
Science has shown that the release of smudging smoke in combination with essential oils can actually change the ions which encircle us. It is no wonder the uses are used in religious rituals.

Light the smudge stick by cutting one string and spreading the leaves open, when a flame appears, blow it out so it will smolder and smoke, not burn. The idea is to get curls of smoke, not to set the smudge herbs afire. Smudge sticks are sometimes hard to keep smoldering so, when you first light it, blow out the flame after it gets going and then blow into the smoldering embers to really let take hold or else it might burn out. If it does burn out, just re-light it again and keep going.

(Special note: Don’t smudge while infants, children, pregnant women, animals, or people with respiratory diseases are in the room.) Also, I light my stick outdoors to get it going. Sage burns hot and can cause injury. Please exercise caution. Extinguish your sage in sand after using it.
Please be mindful around people with allergies, including yourself.
